The drive comes pre-formatted and does not need any additional drivers. It is extremely easy to store, access and transfer the files, images, documents and backups. The drive has the auto power-on facility that allows the drive to automatically power up or down in association with the system. Under the enclosure is a 500GB SATA Hard Drive with a spindle speed of 4200rpm. With just the USB2.0 interface, the read and write speeds of the drive are average. The Buffalo Juststore 500GB comes with two years manufacturer’s warranty. We feel that this warranty period is quite less as its rivals are available with three year’s warranty, however, it is better than the one year warranty that is offered for some drives.
